From the moment you walk through the door at The Waterside there is an immediate wow factor at this stunning and award winning SimpsInns venue in West Kilbride.

In 2014 the brand new Si! Shack was introduced where delicious food-to-go became the order of the day. At Si! Shack you will find ‘posh fish ‘n chips’ and much more with the option to take away or soak up the views from the rustic surroundings of the Si! Shack or from the verandah.

The stunning Cape Cod/New England design makes for the perfect place to dine out or simply relax and unwind. When the sun is shining there is no better place than the private garden and covered verandah area where a delicious alfresco food offering is available throughout the day.

As part of the family-owned SimpsInns group, The Waterside takes great pride in its extensive food offering, sourcing local produce where possible and using only the freshest ingredients. The Waterside is part of the prestigious Scotch Beef Club and supports Taste Ayrshire.

The Orangery Restaurant takes full advantage of it’s location on the Ayrshire coast.  Looking over the grounds of Seamill Hydro and on to over 100 square miles of land and sea.  The Orangery features an expanse of glass offering unrivalled views across the hotel’s landscaped gardens and out over the Firth of Clyde and the islands of Arran, and, in the distance Ailsa Craig.

A great choice on the menu and even plenty for the kids to choose from!

Cecchini’s Ardrossan has spectacular views that stretch past the Marina onwards towards Arran and is just a few minutes from the ferry terminal. Be it a romantic evening in our restaurant, a catch up over drinks in the Bistro or coffee outside watching the sun go down there is no finer place to enjoy an occasion.

Situated at Troon Yacht Haven, Scotts is a stunning bar and restaurant which looks out towards the picturesque Isle of Arran and Ailsa Craig.

With a menu full of local, seasonal ingredients, there’s something to satisfy even the most discerning of tastes – including classic fish and chips, freshly-landed lobster and delicious 28 day-aged steaks. In summer months, the heated terrace means guests can sip a cocktail and watch the sunset over the islands. The bar itself is equally impressive, thanks to a cocktail list compiled by some of Scotland’s leading mixologists, as well as a refreshingly varied selection of wines by the glass, continental lager and craft beer.
